      Mentor

Make a difference in the life of a student. The Admissions Office of NATI provides an excellent opportunity for alumni and volunteers to interact with students. Mentors draw on their real-world experience to give students advice about making the right choices in school, getting ahead in their careers and developing social skills. They serve as a confidence booster as well as role models. Mentors act as sounding boards for their students and provide practical feedback. They share ideas, communicate knowledge, identify useful resources and help clarify educational and professional goals.

      Speak

Share your professional and educational experience with students who will follow into your field of expertise by being a guest lecturer in the classroom. You can make a significant impact on their career path while networking with fellow alumni.

      Serve

Attend Alumni Association Board of Directors meetings(everyone is welcome) and join others who act as liaisons between NATI and the alumni body. Help chart your alma mater’s course and its future alumni, the students, by serving on one of the committees focused on shaping the growth and development of NATI.

      Support

Attend NATI and NATIAA sponsored events. Your participation is always welcomed. Can’t attend? MAKE A DONATION – this is another way to support your alma mater while playing an important role in students’ careers and future. GO TO DONATE PAGE NOW

      Recruit

Be a part of our recruitment team and assist the Admission Office with recruitment. Share your own campus experiences with prospective students at high school fairs and play an important role in personalizing the admission process. As a representative or “face” of NATIAA, your help in answering prospective students’ questions and concerns is invaluable. The Admission office needs your help with interviewing and telephoning prospective students as well. A short training program is mandatory.

      Host

NATIAA coordinates receptions for students, alumni, current and former faculty to gather at special locations to meet the president, network, socialize, and catch up. These receptions take place in Canada and Guyana.

      Participate

Take part in student/alumni activities or help staff events. Appreciation Day, Sporting Events, Career Fair and Convocation are just a few of the activities in which you can interact and play a role in creating positive school experiences for students.

      Alumni Volunteers

The experience of our faculty, staff, and especially our students, is made so much richer by the commitment and caring of our alumni, and we thank you for your support!

We make every effort to prepare an accurate list. If you participated in one of our various activities throughout the fiscal year, and you don’t see your name listed, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (647) 455-0621 or via email: info@natiaa.com, and we’ll happily add it.

      The Recruitment Program

Allows alumni to assist with the recruitment of prospective students; encouraging accepted students to select NATI as their destination, and congratulating enrolled students who will step foot on campus for the first time.

You can participate in the program regardless of where you reside, whether you have an hour to give or an entire day.

We are so very thankful for your support!

      Here’s how you can help:

      Open Houses

The Admission Office hosts several recruitment events on campus each year, including Open Houses. Alumni can participate in a panel discussion, speaking to prospective students and their parents about why you chose to attend NATI, what you are doing now, and why NATI is a great fit.

      High School Fairs

Representing NATI at high school fairs is a valuable service for the Admission Office. Sharing your experiences brings life to the information that prospective students require to make an informed career decision.

      Host a Recruitment Event

NATIAA host recruitment events for prospective students and their parents, as well as fellow alumni and parents of current students, would be a wonderful welcome to those who are considering NATI. It is also a great opportunity to forge connections between those who are already passionate about the institution to those who are interested in learning more about it.

      Accepted Student Calls

Who better to call and congratulate accepted students than our alumni! There is nothing as rewarding as being the bearer of great news—or at least further reinforcing that NATIAA is eager to welcome new students into the NATIAA family.

      Training and Materials

The Admission Office will provide you with the requisite training and materials that you need to effectively engage in these activities. From printed materials to website videos and postings, to other platforms for engagement, we work to make certain that your experience as a recruiter is just as rewarding as your experience was as a student.

      Rewarding Experience

By volunteering for these activities, you’ll be joining fellow alumni who contribute their valuable time, talent, energy, and ideas, for the betterment of our students—both current and future.
